Here are 5 eco questions I’ve been pondering. They elicit some surprising facts and interesting links.
1. Do cow farts cause global warming?
When they digest their food, cattle release methane, a greenhouse gas that contribute to global warming.
Researchers believe that cows add 3 to 5% of greenhouse gases to the environment!

Cow gas may be polluting, but cow dung is used as a source of alternative energy.

2. Does black Google save energy?
Skepticism about the significance of the energy savings of black Google has been aroused, but even if the energy savings are small, black Google reminds us that we need to keep on doing something for the environment.

3. How much electricity does an Avatar on Second Life consume?
The virtual world is considered by many as environmental. Some aspects of the virtual world are green (like saving paper), but high CPU means high energy consumption.

4. Can a plane run on biofuel?
Biofuel is trendy and generates nice PR to Virgin Atlantic. The harsh reality is that Global warming rage lets global hunger grow.
